The main street in Martinsville is called Cumberland Street after the historic road. The festival includes flea and farmer markets, crafts, food and live entertainment. Martinsville Agricultural FairMartinsville is home tothe Great Midwest Trot and Paceandthe Martinsville Agricultural Fair!
Martinsville Agricultural Fair July 4- 10, 2010 The Martinsville Agricultural Fair features afternoons of thoroughbred and harness racing, with the Great Midwest Trot and Pace on Thursday at 1 p.m. and thoroughbred racing on Friday at 1 p.m. Entertainment is provided each evening, and visitors can enter their special projects for prizes. All ages are eligible to enter and entries range from produce, food, hobbies, and crafts to elementary science projects. This year, two Christian bands will be performing on Monday July 5 at 6 p.m.: Jars of Clay and Needtobreathe. For more info on the concerts, visit www.elevatemartinsville.com.
